Setting up your Outlook Express E-mail Account
- Open Outlook Express.
- From the "Tools" meñu, click "Accounts."
- Click the "Mail" tab.
- Highlight your account as it is listed.
- Select "Properties."
- Click the "General" tab.
- Under "Mail Account," enter "orcasonline" or your email address.
- Under "User Information," enter your name in the name field.
- You can leave "Organization" blank. It is an optional field.
- Your email address for Orcas Online should be: username@orcasonline.com
- You can leave "Reply address" blank, or enter an alternate email address.
- To continue to review and/or configure our settings, click the "Servers" tab.
- Verify that "My incoming mail server" is "POP3" server.
- "Incoming mail server (POP3)" should read:
mail.orcasonline.com.
- "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" should read:
smtp.orcasonline.com.
- Verify that you have selected the "Log on" user box.
- The account name will display the portion of your email address before the @orcasonline.com (in lower case letters) - Example: "username."
- Re-enter Password (in lower case letters). Click "OK" - Click "CLOSE."
