You can use the Apple provided Internet Setup Assistant to setup your account here is what you need.

A. From the Apple Menu
Slide down to "Control Panels"
Slide Over and Down to "Remote Access"
1. From the File Menu
Select "Configurations"
Click 'Duplicate" button
Click the "Rename" button.
Type in "Orcas Online"
Click "OK"
Click "Make Active"
Fill in your login
and your password.
Remember capital letters count!! We use lower case most of the time.
Fill in 376-2466 as a phone number.
Click "Options" button
Click the tab named "Protocols"
Click the top three Check marks
Click "OK"
From the Remote Access Menu
Select "TCP/IP"
After TCP/IP opens from the file menu select "Configurations"
Click "Duplicate"
Type in "Orcas Online"
Click "OK"
Click "Make Active"
On the Connect via line - click and select "PPP
On the Configure Line click and select "Using PPP Server"
In the Bottom window (Name server addr:) Enter the following two IP addresses:
204.201.135.130
204.201.135.131
From File Menu select "Quit"
Click "Save" when asked.
Now we should be back at the Remote Access screen.
Make sure your phone line is plugged in.
Click the Connect button and the computer should dial in to the net.
Run Internet Explorer or Netscape to view web pages and surf the net.
Run Outlook Express or Netscape or Eudora for email.
For email your email address is "yourlogin@orcasonline.com"
To send mail out you need the Orcas Online outgoing mail server (smtp server) : mail.orcasonline.com
the incoming mail server is the same.
On the road you can check your mail from a friends home or at a Cybercafe/Surf shop by going to www.mailstart.com or www.thatweb.com
